this environment? >> when you say what the fed is doing with qe-2 and things like this, they're trying to help the economy. it's a big economy. the u.s. economy and the rest of the world's economy is so big once it goes in a direction it's hard to reverse that. the good news is it's been growing relatively stable the last several quarters and if we can keep that going it will materialize and produce the jobs and gain not as fast as we all want, we want it to be over and we want it back to 4 1/2% unemployment and 4% gdp growth, that's probably out there a while. but i think it's going forward. the key is what the fed is trying to do is keep the economy going forward and i think the chairman has been extremely clear about that, probably more so than they fed president before. it makes a very difficult earnings environment but i would rather have higher interest rates because it means the economy is growing and if it's growing we'll do better as an industry. we all want the economy to grow because that's
